Frantically making sure all the orders go out at the moment. With no elves to help it takes up a lot of the day. Not that I am complaining mind. I really want to ensure our customers get the best possible beer with the best possible service. Not everything goes smoothly, as I am sure you all know. My promise of 'best service' is really tested when things go wrong. Which is why a telephone call from a lady yesterday made my world that wee bit better. She was very, very complimentary about the service, the beer, the website, the delight of our customers.... her words where indeed a shot in the arm!

Here is a shot in the other arm. On arrival home on a wet and windy Thursday night, I got off my trusty steed and found a parcel from the cellarman. I gently retrieved the delicate package from its hiding place and took it indoors. Once I had removed my soaking wet kit, I removed Black Boar Porter from its cozy jacket. I know you recommend leaving the beer a while. I could not wait. I poured a small glass and with anticipation watched to see if it was clear. It was. While rain lashed on the windows I emptied pure joy from the glass. At once I dressed, retrieved my favourite window mug and filled it. The world of work, traffic and bad weather that earlier contrived to finish me off, receded into a befuggled state of happyness. At last!! a great Porter at home. Well done Cellarman, keep up the good work.
